It's finally begun!

Yes, I'm actually starting a blog about building my new house. I'm sure those around me are tired of my constantly talking about getting things started. So - - if you are interested, you can check in here. I promise to find other subjects to talk about off line. The first pic is the lot last summer.

Also, yes, it's all about me! This is a big deal for me to actually be designing and building a house from the very beginning. The design process has been unbearably long - but there is actually dirt on my lot today! See the pic below.

And - - the important issue is the arduous task of building as ecologically green home as possible. More on that later.
